Head Diving Coach Duane Osmanski
Duane Osmanski has served as Nebraska-Kearney head diving head coach for over 20 years.
During his tenure, Osmanski has seen two of his divers, Dusty Walston and Annie Moyer, earn Division II All-American honors. He also helped Jennifer Kirkland qualify for the 2008 NCAA Championships.
When the RMAC (Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference) added swimming and diving as a conference sport in 2008, the Lopers had two divers earn all-league status.
Osmanski has been a guest coach at Indiana University’s summer diving camps and coached at the UNK summer diving camps.
A native of Pueblo, Colo., Osmanski spent one year diving at the University of Wyoming where he placed at the WAC (Western Athletic Conference) Championships.
He went on to Colorado State where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology.
He and his wife Teresa, UNK's former head women’s swimming coach, live in Kearney with their son.
